GACC | Announcement on Implementing the Commitment System for Notification of Imported Dairy Inspection Reports
On July 6, 2021, General Administration of Customs of China issued Announcement on Implementing the Commitment System for Notification of imported Dairy Inspection Reports. The main contents include:
1. The way of commitment is in the form of written commitment. If the applicant makes a commitment, it shall submit the original notification letter of commitment stamped with the companies' official seal to the customs.
2. Applicants can choose whether to adopt the commitment system for notification. If the applicant is unwilling or unable to make a promise, certification materials shall be submitted in accordance with the law. If the applicant has a relatively serious bad credit record or has made a false promise, the commitment system for notification shall not be applied before the credit restoration.
3. The applicant's commitments should include:
a. The applicant holds the inspection report of the batch of imported dairy products that meets the requirements of Article 11 of the Supervision and Administration Measures of Inspection and Quarantine of imported and Exported Dairy Products;
b. No bad credit records or has made false promises;
c. Know all the contents notified by the customs;
d. Meet the relevant requirements notified by the customs;
e. Accept the verification of this certification item by the customs;
f. Willing to assume legal responsibility for false promises;
g. The intention of the above promise is true.
